Offhand surprise of the day: Returning from market, there was a freshly dead cow--in the process of being skinned?--lying just outside our home. There's either a holiday tomorrow, or a baby was born...our pieces of Tigrigna aren't adding up to any clear reason; but somebody's going to be eating a lot of beef.
